Model Dependencies
The French APFP estimate has two types of dependencies: social charges and insurance.
Social Charges
As indicated in the Specification of Budget Cost Fields section, the payroll tax can be applied to individual lines.
The default amounts for each type of social charge are indicated by the following values:
- Director: 67%
- Production Technician: 67%
- Interpretation: 58%
- Post-production Image Technician: 67%
- Post-production Sound Technician: 67%

You can also change the default amounts for social charges by modifying the quantities in the matrix.
Social charge types are pre-applied to certain positions:
- The Director type is pre-applied to multiple lines, for example, the Director salary line in the 10A Director subsection of the IIIA Technical Team section:
- The Production Technician type is pre-applied to multiple lines, for example, the Creative Director line in the 1A Concept subsection of the IA Preproduction section:
- The Interpretation type is pre-applied to multiple lines, for example, the Silhouettes line in the 7A Extras subsection of the IIA Interpretation section:
- The Post-production Image Technician type is pre-applied to multiple lines, for example, the Post-production Supervisor line in the 46A Staff subsection of the XIIA Post-production Image section:
- The Post-production Sound Technician type is pre-applied to multiple lines, for example, the Sound Director line in the 47A Editing subsection of the XIIIA Post-production Sound section:
It is possible to modify a predefined type of social charge or add one to a line that does not have it, as seen in the Social Charges section of the Specification of Cost Fields section.
Insurance
For each insurance line, the value in the Quantity column represents the percentage of the total amount applied to different sections:
In the Civil Liability Insurance line, the value in the Quantity column corresponds to the percentage of the total amount applied to all sections, including social charges.
In the No show line, the value in the Quantity column corresponds to the percentage of the total amount applied to all sections, including social charges.
In the Equipment Insurance line, the value in the Quantity column corresponds to the percentage of the total amount applied to the Equipment section.
In the Negative Insurance line, the value in the Quantity column corresponds to the percentage of the total amount applied to the Post-production - Image section.
You can change the default insurance amounts by modifying the values in the Quantity column.
