Guaranteed Minimum Salary (GMS)

The French advertising estimate available in Chedar is an estimate approved by the UPC (Union des Producteurs de Cinéma), and as a result, the rates from the cinema collective agreement applied to advertising are pre-filled by default in this model.

The GMS (Guaranteed Minimum Salary) button, located above the grid, allows you to either remove these rates or add them back.

1. Click on the name of the estimate to open it, as shown below:

2. In the budget grid of the estimate, the GMS rates are already added in the Local Currency Rates column for some cost lines in the IIIA Technical Team and XIIA Postproduction - Image sections, as shown below:

3. To modify the GMS rates, click on GMS at the top of the page, as shown below:

You have the option to manually enter the guaranteed rate for a specific cost line based on the specifics of your shoot.

4. A context menu will appear, as shown below:

5. To remove the GMS rates, click Remove Guaranteed Rates.
6. A window will appear, as shown below:

7. Click Yes, and the guaranteed rates will be removed.

8. To add back the GMS rates, click Add Guaranteed Rates.

9. A window will appear, as shown below:

10. Click Yes, and the guaranteed rates will be added back.

Please note that this action will not remove the rates you have already entered manually.
