Model Dependencies

The Clips and TV Estimate has two types of dependencies: social charges and insurance.

Social Charges​

As explained in the Budget Cost Field Specification section, the payroll tax can be applied to individual lines.

The default amounts for each type of social charge are indicated by the following values:

  1. Technicians: 65%
  2. Cast: 58%

You can also change the default amounts for social charges by modifying the quantities in the matrix.

Social charges types are pre-applied to certain positions:

  1. The Crew type is pre-applied to several lines as an example, the Creative Director line in the 1A Design subsection of the IA Pre-production section:

  1. The Cast type is pre-applied to several subsections, for example, the Silhouettes line in the 2A Cast subsection of the IIA Production section:

It is possible to modify a pre-defined social charge type or add one to a line that does not have it, as seen in the Social Charges section of the Budget Cost Field Specification section.

Insurance​

For each insurance line, the value in the Quantity column represents the percentage of the total amount applied to different sections:

  1. In the civil liability insurance line, the value in the Quantity column corresponds to the percentage of the total amount applied to all sections, including social charges.

  2. In the No show line, the value in the Quantity column corresponds to the percentage of the total amount applied to all sections, including social charges.

  3. In the Equipment Insurance line, the value in the Quantity column corresponds to the percentage of the total amount applied to the Equipment subsection.
