Model Dependencies

The Simplified Post Production budget has two types of dependencies: social charges and insurance.

Social Charges

As mentioned in the Budget Cost Fields Specification section, the social tax can be applied to individual lines.

The default amounts for each type of social charges are indicated by the following values:

  1. Director: 67%
  2. Shooting Technician: 67%
  3. Cast: 58%
  4. Postproduction Image Technician: 67%
  5. Postproduction Sound Technician: 67%

You can also change the default amounts for social charges types by modifying the quantity in the matrix.

Social charges types are pre-applied to certain positions except for the Director type:

  1. Shooting Technician type is pre-applied to several lines as an example, the Creative Director line in the 1A Design subsection of the IA Preproduction section:

  1. Cast type is pre-applied to several lines as an example, the Silhouettes line in the 7A Extras subsection of the IIA Cast section:

  1. Postproduction Image Technicians type is pre-applied to several lines as an example, the Postproduction Manager line in the 46A Staff subsection of the XIIA Postproduction-Image section:

  1. Postproduction Sound Technicians type is pre-applied to several lines as an example, the Sound Director line in the 47A Editing subsection of the XIIIA Postproduction-Sound section:

It is possible to modify a predefined type of social charge or add one to a line that does not have it, as seen in the Social Charges section of the Budget Cost Fields Specification.

Insurance

For each insurance line, the value in the Quantity column represents the percentage of the total amount applied to different sections:

In this budget template, the value in the Quantity column is 0. If you want to add insurance, you need to modify the value in the Quantity column.

  1. In the Civil Liability Insurance line, the value in the Quantity column corresponds to the percentage of the total amount applied to all sections, including social charges.

  2. In the No Show line, the value in the Quantity column corresponds to the percentage of the total amount applied to all sections, including social charges.

  3. In the Equipment Insurance line, the value in the Quantity column corresponds to the percentage of the total amount applied to the Equipment section.

  4. In the Negative Insurance line, the value in the Quantity column corresponds to the percentage of the total amount applied to the Postproduction - Image section.
