Share a Project with Freelancers
Chedar Film Budgeting offers you the ability to add external freelancers for specific projects and shoots, while maintaining the confidentiality of your other projects.
Only company administrators can perform the task below. The freelancer must have a Chedar account before being invited to a project. Sharing a project also involves sharing all the projects and quotes it contains.
To invite a freelancer, follow the steps below:
Hover over the desired project and click on
on the right to manage your freelancers as shown below:
Another option: click on the project folder name to access the project page, then on in the menu at the top of the page to manage your freelancers, as shown below:
The window dedicated to managing freelancers appears as below:
Enter your freelancer's email address in the corresponding cell.
Click on Save.
If the freelancer already has a Chedar account, a success message appears on the right side of the screen. The freelancer's email address is added, and the project is shared with them.
If the freelancer does not have a Chedar account, an error message appears on the right side of the screen. This message invites you to share this link with your freelancer so they can create their account.
Once the account is created, you can add the freelancer to your project.
